Refund Policy
30 days, no questions asked
If you are not happy with your report, email us within 30 days of purchase and we will refund you in full.
You do not need to give a reason. You do not need to return anything. We will not ask you to justify it and we will not try to talk you out of it.
How to request one
Email services@privacypicket.com from the address you bought with, or quote your order reference.
We will process it within 5 business days. The money returns to your original payment method. How quickly it appears after that is up to your bank, not us.
Who processes the refund
Purchases are sold and processed by our payment provider, acting as merchant of record. They are the seller shown on your receipt and on your statement, and the refund is issued through them. You can contact either us or them. Either way it gets done.
What happens to your report
Once refunded, your access to the online copy is withdrawn. If you already downloaded it, we are not going to chase you for it.
If you are in the EU or the UK
You have a statutory right to withdraw from a purchase within 14 days. Because your report is produced and delivered immediately, you are asked at checkout to agree that delivery begins straight away, and to acknowledge that you lose that 14 day withdrawal right once it has been delivered.
That statutory right is separate from the policy on this page, and the policy on this page is more generous. Our 30 day, no questions asked refund applies to you either way.
Australian Consumer Law
The refund above is something we offer voluntarily. It sits on top of rights you already have by law, which we cannot take away and are not trying to. In plain terms: if what we sold you is faulty or not as described, you have remedies regardless of the 30 days, and those remedies can be worth more than the purchase price.
Our goods and services come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law. For major failures with the service, you are entitled to cancel your service contract with us and to a refund for the unused portion, or to compensation for its reduced value. You are also entitled to choose a refund or replacement for major failures with goods. If a failure with the goods or a service does not amount to a major failure, you are entitled to have the failure rectified in a reasonable time. If this is not done you are entitled to a refund for the goods and to cancel the contract for the service and obtain a refund of any unused portion. You are also entitled to be compensated for any other reasonably foreseeable loss or damage from a failure in the goods or service.
Nothing in this policy excludes, restricts, or modifies those rights.
