One control report

A$15

One-off, includes GST

The complete rollout plan for a single Essential Eight control: the decisions to make, how to bring your team along, and the technical setup for whoever does your IT.

All eight together

Coming later

Not on sale yet

Every control report in one purchase. It goes on sale once all eight are written.

What is available right now

We are writing these one at a time, and we would rather tell you than sell you a placeholder.

Ready now: Application Control

Still being written: Patch Applications, Configure Microsoft Office Macro Settings, User Application Hardening, Restrict Administrative Privileges, Patch Operating Systems, Multi-Factor Authentication, Regular Backups

What you get

  • A rollout plan in three parts, not just a list of technical settings.
  • The decisions only an owner can make: who owns it, the budget, the exception rule, and what "done" means.
  • How to bring your team along, because these controls change how people work and rollouts fail on people more often than on the technology.
  • The technical setup for your IT, with every instruction linked to its source.
  • A sequence putting the three in the order they actually happen.
  • Yours to keep, and to share with your IT provider, insurer, or clients.

Prices in your currency

Prices above are in Australian dollars and include GST. If you are buying from outside Australia, checkout shows the price in your own currency with the correct tax for where you are, and that is the amount you pay.
